MEET THE AUTHOR

Before grabbing his laptop one day and discovering the story of Jake Doe, EDWARD TRIMBLE spent his professional career in the software industry where he was the co-founder and CEO of EzGov, a pioneering, multi-national e-government company.

Mr. Trimble holds a BSE from Duke University where he likely first learned about quantum entanglement, Schrodinger’s cat, artificial intelligence, and other topics touched on in the book that he, just like the fictional Dr. Ben Brooks, still finds utterly fascinating.

Mr. Trimble is the proud father of three amazing sons and currently lives out in the country with a herd of deer, a flock of wild turkeys, and a black cat named Elvira.

Jake Doe Burning Bright is Mr. Trimble’s debut novel.

My Jake Doe Journey Ends, and Begins

I’m sitting here on my deck in Gardner Creek, New Brunswick, Canada, staring out at a late afternoon sky over the Bay of Fundy on my last night of my 5-week road trip across New England, Maine, and eastern Canada that I playfully named my Jake Doe Journey. Tomorrow I have a six hour drive back to Boston - where it all began - and then a flight back south to Atlanta. It will be a full day of travel. But right now, before the final night’s packing begins, I’m reflecting on some of the highlights from my bucket list trip.
